If you’re like me, you love fall.
But not only the season, but the fashion of fall.
What I love about this season is that you can use so many accessories in your outfits (and won’t be sweating like you would in summer).
Among our faves on this list are hats and backpacks!
There’s so much you can do outfit-wise for fall, so read on to find out our fave accessories for the season!
- Sunglasses
Sunglasses are the perfect accessory to rock on campus this fall.
You can choose from so many different styles, including –
Aviators, Wayfarers, Cateyes, Oversized, etc.
The great thing about any of these sunglass styles is that they look good on anyone, with any outfit.
Pair with your comfy sweater or sweatshirt for that cold day on campus and it immediately adds an element of fashion to your outfit.
- Backpacks
I’m not talking your typical Jansport here.
Although Jansport has some cute styles, there are plenty of out-of-the-box backpack styles on the market today.
Whether you’re rocking your sorority backpack or your regular campus one, you’re sure to be stylish with these accessories.
- Brimmed Hats
Brimmed hats are some of my favorite accessories to wear in any given season.
You can pair them with your favorite oversized sweater and leggings.
Or, dress your brimmed hat up for going out for a girl’s night.
They add a boho, kind of western feel to any outfit, and immediately make you look stylish.
Rock a brimmed hat on a rainy day at school and you’ll keep your head protected, while also being fashionable AF.
- Earrings
I feel like dangly earrings are back, and that makes me happy.
We’re back to the 90’s, when dangly earrings were very much a thing.
One of the best trends right now in my opinion is wearing hoops.
Girls have been wearing hoops of all sizes to dress up their outfits, and I’m digging it.
Throw on some hoops with a casual outfit to accessorize.
- Necklaces/Chokers
Chokers have been around for awhile now as a trend.
Add a little flare to your casual school outfit by adding a small choker.
If you’re not a fan of chokers, add a necklace to dress up your top.
You can add a statement necklace to your plain white shirt and cardigan to appear more dressed up than you actually are.
Necklaces are such an easy way to add a your personal style to any outfit.

- Sneakers
Sneakers are a great addition to your school outfit, since you are walking all over creation to your classes.
You can wear them with pretty much anything.
Rock Converse, Vans, Nikes, etc. on campus to add a sporty flare to your outfit.
Pair your choice of sneakers with a casual jumpsuit and sweater, or an off-the-shoulder sweater and leggings.
These are the perfect accessory, and they are comfy too!
- Fiddler Caps
Fiddler caps are a fairly new trend; I feel like I see every girl rocking one lately.
They look so good with lots of outfit choices.
Wear one on a bad hair day to school –
You’ll thank me later.
This is another fairly easy accessory to style.
Wear with a long sleeve shirt and pants, and you’ll have a simple, yet adorable outfit choice for fall.
- Bandanas
If you want to get fancy with it, you can add a bandana to your outfit.
I believe the rest of your outfit has to be relatively plain if you’re going to add a bandana.
There are many bandanas out there with super-fun fall-looking prints that you can wear with a cream sweater and jeans.
Or –
You can wear the classic bandana (you know the ones) with your school outfit.
Up to you, but both choices are super-cute in my opinion!
- Watches
I’m a huge fan of oversized watches.
I’m talking –
Big-faced, men’s watches.
Us women have dainty wrists, so it doesn’t look weird when we wear a huge watch.
You can buy a big watch, or simply borrow your boyfriend’s for the day (he has so many, he’ll never notice).
- Beanies
Beanies are perfect for fall!
You can rock a baggy one, or a tighter-fitting beanie, depending on what outfit you choose for the day.
They are perfect for class because you can hide that second day hair!
Beanies are quintessential for fall outfits, so be sure and pick one up!
There are tons of ways to accessorize your outfits for fall classes. With so many options, you’re bound to be looking cute!
