The presence of the tiny ants in your house is annoying. They spread harmful bacteria and end up damaging your house. With the hot warm weather coming up, they will be free to roam in your house. The ants are really stubborn. Sometimes they never go away even if you spray them. Here are a few tips you can use to get rid of them and prevent them from coming to your house.

1. Call the Pest Control Professionals

If you have tried getting rid of the ants without any success, call the professionals to help you out. They will identify the type of ants they are so that they can use the appropriate methods to get rid of them or drive them away. Other than the ants you see on your house, there are more ants beneath. The experts will identify the queen that lays the eggs to reproduce more ants and destroy their colony. To eliminate the ant’s problem in your house once and for all, call the powerpestcontrol.ca. They have the tools, the insecticides and the knowledge to get rid of the ants for good.

2. Use Vinegar

The ants dislikes the smell of vinegar. Its smell keeps the ants away and it also covers up the scent trail of the insects. You can use the vinegar together with essential oils to drive them away. Spray the vinegar solution from where the ants are coming from and where they are at your house. Spray for a few days until they are completely gone. They will be gone for a long time.

3. Lemon Juice

Due to its acidic properties the lemon juice gets rids of the ants tracking. Use the pure lemon juice and spray it around the place where they are coming from.It will keep them from coming back or go away.

4. Use a Bait

Do not kill the worker ants. Instead use them as a bait to lead you to their territory. Place a poisoned bait to all the places where they ooze from. The worker ants will carry the bait into the territory to feed the queen and the offspring and they will all die. This will get rid of the stubborn ants. The bait might not kill the insects immediately. Some ants have more queens and are highly populated. You need to repeat the process a few more times.

5. Essential Oils

You can use the essential oils to interfere with the ants tracking. When the ant worker goes to look for food they make a trail using the pheromone, a chemical they produce to help other ants come to where the food is. If you use the essential oils, they are not able to follow the trail.

Ants are creepy and seriously annoying. You need to be patient to completely get rid of them. You can try the effective natural methods to deter them or have a professional help you chase them away. Whatever method is within your reach use it.
