The shell of dead insects is crushed by the waves, and brought up all he way to the bay. There, it mixes with the white sand and creates the specific color. This is why the sand has the wonderful pink hue. There are only 10 beaches with pink sand in the whole world. The Bahamas are lucky to have a jewel like this.
