Follow your intuition

How many times have happened you have brought a right decision without even thinking about? You simply follow your “gut feeling” without having a lot of information or experience. You consider being lucky bringing a right decision without having enough information or experience in a particular situation. But what if it is not just a luck? What if it is something different?

Well, the premonition of a certain outcome in a particular situation is called intuition. We, as humans are all born with a certain amount of intuition, or as I would like to think, an instinct. Therefore, being aware of our powers may benefit our life and future.

How to recognize you are being intuitive?

If you have a feeling that something is going to happen in the future, than you are being intuitive. Remember bringing a right decision in a situation you have not been sure what to do? Well, you are more likely to have been listening to your intuition instead of being lucky.
The intensive intuition is a rare gift, but you can also achieve the same level by simply being more observant about your life and the events surrounding you.

Why your intuition is so important?

Well, as human beings aren’t always focused or in our brightest mood. Considering nowadays’ circumstances and way of life, we are very often exposed to myriads of obstacles and mood swings are inevitable. But life still goes on and we are under pressure of bringing endless decisions. Some of them are minor, and we should not waste our whole energy on them. On the other hand, crucial decisions are around every second corner and we have to be well prepared. I mean, none of us would like to ruin what they have been building for years, investing money, time, energy and devotion, right? But unfortunately, we cannot always be prepared and clear-minded for bringing a decision.
Well, in a situation like that, your intuition can be very useful. Being nature’s greatest handiwork, we as humans are tending to move in a natural way. I believe that just like the animals, we also are born with some instincts. Unfortunately, in the quest of fulfilling today’s industrial norms, our instincts are weakened by an insufficient use. But, that does not mean that they are gone and we cannot use them. By simply calming our bodies and emptying our mind we can subconsciously discover what is the best for us. That is called intuition.

Few tips on strengthening your intuition:

  • In my opinion, the best starting point is observation. Lay back a little and pay attention. Acknowledging the details surrounding you will actually help you understand the essence of the events around you.
  • Objective point of view. We, the people, are notorious of blaming everyone/everything. We are reluctant of taking responsibility. But if you try looking the other way around, you will be surprised. Take a responsibility and take actions instead of excuses.
  • Visit nature more often. Take a moment and enjoy it, let it take over you.
