Life has changed drastically over the past 10 years, and the values are quite different. Many things have progressed in terms of technology, hence the media as well. Nowadays the internet runs the World and we are obliged to follow. But, how do we get the best out of this situation?

You have surely asked yourself why are you spending so much time meaningless scrolling through the social media. You are overrun with a lot of ads and content you are not interest in, but you still continue following their algorithms. Well, unfortunately it is something we are forced to do to keep in touch with the World today. But how do you turn things in your favor?

Well, Instagram is the biggest grossing social media in the moment, with more than 1 billion users around the globe. Not only it is a place where you publish you life experiences, but it also is a home to millions of various businesses around the World. So, roughly said, Instagram has become kind of a “Business/Life portfolio available for everyone”. By many algorithms and tools, Instagram has made every content really easy reachable and accessible. So, how do you turn the odds to your favor?

Whether you are a professional or not, you want to share your experiences with the World. You want to be seen and your deeds recognized. You want your name to be known and you want everyone to know you are worthy.
Therefore, Instagram is a nice starter pack. Figure out what you have, where you want to go and what you want to reach, and pay attention on few segments:

1. Nickname
Whether you are using your real name or any kind of a pseudonym, you want it to be interesting and original. Because, there are one billion others who are trying to find their own place in this World, and everyone is trying their best.

2. Description
Hence, once you have figured out your nickname, the description is crucial. You have to say something about yourself, but you do not want it to be something boring. If it is too long it won’t attract people and they will not spend time reading 30 pages of introduction. So, you want something short, nice, compact and innovative. For example, you can look at it as a quote describing you, right? Also, if you are a musician, you would want to mention the bands you are in or the musicians you are collaborating with.
Above all, you can use hashtags as well. So, figure out the best hashtag matching your content and you are ready to start!

3. Content & Hashtags
Make sure what are your goal and what are you aiming before start posting and growing your profile. Clarity and consistence are the first step to success.
A very mighty and helpful tool are the hashtags. You are allowed to use up to 30 hashtags both in the description and the comment section. So, all you have to do is:
-Find out the right hashtags for your content
-Don’t overuse them because your post might be considered as a scam
-Commit yourself and success is inevitable
